Desccription: We have a current opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in London. For further information about this position please apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Progressing and delivering designs from RIBA stage 2 up until detailed design and tender stage.

Producing mechanical specifications and equipment schedules for a varying nature of projects on a design and build and traditional basis.

Monitoring construction and installation of mechanical services on site on behalf of the client.

Dealing with witnessing of the commissioning of mechanical based systems on site and sign off on behalf of the client.

Dealing with the Coordination of mechanical and electrical services on a project within a Revit model.

Working on simultaneous projects at different design stages.

Key Requirements:

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.

Chartership is desirable or at least in the process of becoming chartered with CIBSE or ImechE.

7-9 years post degree experience working in design for a consultancy or contractor.

Be an expert user of all Microsoft Office applications.

Experience of working in a BIM environment would be beneficial.

Experience dealing with thermal modelling software such as Hevacomp, IES VE, TAS EDSL.

Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal communication skills.
